Ramkumar Singaram, Founder - Director

Ramkumar, born in 1971, a post-graduate in finance, heads the Catalyst team, and is responsible for business development and client relations. Ramkumar is a multi-faceted personality - he is a journalist, author, orator, radio jockey, and moderator of TV shows. He has over 15 years of experience in public relations. So far, he has handled PR mandates of over 400+ clients.

As a freelance Journalist, he wrote articles for leading Tamil magazines including: Valarthozil, Mangayar Malar, Kungumum, Kumudam Bakthi, Dinamani, etc. He has interviewed more than 500 entrepreneurs for various publications, and anchored over 200 live education and career-related phone-in programs in Makkal TV, Doordarshan and Jaya plus. He comperes programs for Chennai Station of Radio One 94.3 FM. He has authored three books - 'Selavai Kurainga Sir' on thriftiness and 'Thozhil Seyya Virumbu' on entrepreneurship and 'Asathal Thozhilgal 64' on Business Ideas.

K.P. Amarnath, Head - Client Services

Amarnath is a MBA graduate from Madras University. He has been with Catalyst since 1999, ensuring that good and quality service to customers is delivered on time. He knows English, Tamil and Kannada. Fast in execution, he finishes volumes of job with ease.

He has vast experience in public relations, and handles a large number of projects of all sizes and from all sectors. His strength lies in his strong relations with journalists.

Nithya M, Executive - Client Services

Nithya has completed MBA from Pondicherry University and has over two years of experience in media and public relations. She is responsible for coordinating and executing press releases, press meets and exclusive interviews in visual & print media.

Before joining Catalyst, Nithya was working for L&T. She is result-oriented, and focuses on timely delivery of services. She is chatty and ever smiley.

N. Karpagam, Executive - Client Services

A commerce graduate from Madras University, Karpagam joined Catalyst in 2003 as Administrator & System Operator. Currently, her role as executive of client services involves back office works like documentation and invoice processing.

Karpagam is a MS Office pro, possessing remarkable skills to create Power Point presentations for clients. She manages translation projects, mailings, and takes care of client servicing. Sincere and good-natured, she fits in all shoes whenever there is a gap and carries out her work calmly and fastly.

V. Paul Britto, Head - Logistics

Britto is heading logistics team which plays a crucial role in management of events like press meets, industry visits, seminars, and conferences.

Britto is with the company since 2003. He completes all his jobs on time. His experienced team members include Ebenezer, Subramani, Rajasekar, and Arasumani.

A good and organized team player, he is always on wheels to get his work accomplished.

R. Jasmine, Executive - Admin and Accounts

A Bachelor's degree holder in commerce from Madras University, Jasmine is the Accounts and Administration Executive at Catalyst, since 2006. She takes care of payroll and prepares internal MIS reports on all aspects of financial performance of the company. She is good in managing cash accounts.

Jasmine does even tedious tasks perfectly and enthusiastically. Sincere and loyal, she is shrewd in cash handling and careful in bulk transactions.

G. Sankaranarayanan, Editorial Consultant

Sankar has a long standing association with Catalyst, as its editorial consultant, creating content and communication strategies for customers. He runs Myrel Communications, an editorial services company, and Younomy, a co-creation consulting agency. He has about twelve years of experience as a business journalist. He has authored The Co-creation Roadmap: Six Steps to Tap the Wisdom of Crowds, a book on social media-enabled co-creation strategies.

He also consults for Confederation of Indian Industry – Southern Region in the areas of media relations. Earlier, he has worked with Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Limited as its business correspondent. He is a simple man with good writing skills. He is easily accessible, and delivers his services on time.

Chandrasekar Rao, HR Consultant

Chandrasekar Rao, having over ten years of experience in HR consultancy and heading his own venture Business Law Solutions (BLS), is HR Consultant to Catalyst PR. He is instrumental in enhancing the company’s HR practices with his solid expertise gained from working in reputed companies such as TVS Group and Hatsun.

BLS has more than 20 clients in Chennai and provides legal statutory compliance support services on labour law related to legal documentation, process flow, process mapping, licensing, registering, proactive plans, troubleshooting, among others.
